Safe Start Technology helps ensure that a proper charge mode and a safe charge are used for each charge cycle and battery. The charger will not allow charging of LiPo batteries without utilizing the Safe Peak Balancing, nor will it allow you to accidentally charge a NiMH battery in LiPo mode. To keep your batteries from being charged incorrectly, the charger automatically resets the charge current to 0.5A for every charge cycle, ensuring the user selects the proper setting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
Safe Peak technology optimizes the charging modes for each battery. NiCd and NiMH packs are charged to their maximum performance voltage by fully exploiting the delta-peak for each battery, thus helping to preserve longevity.
